公園裡可能看到的另一種大型野生動物是elk，不算特別容易在Wildlife Loop Road上看到，我自己是在這條路到Wind Cave National Park間的地方看到的。Elk是典型喜歡在太陽高度較低時間活動的動物，大太陽下一般比較不容易看到。

因為這時候是五月底，差不多是elk calf出生的時候，想說不知道是否會看到新生兒，但是並沒有，也許在一或兩個星期後才比較有機會看到。
